The world’s largest and highest-energy laser was certified to operate by the U.S. Department of Energy on March 27, 2009. In 2010, NIF will focus the intense energy of 192 giant laser beams on a BB-sized target filled with hydrogen fuel — fusing, or igniting, the hydrogen atoms’ nuclei in the world’s first controlled thermonuclear reaction. Turman Commercial Painters was responsible for painting a 40’x40’ sign on the reactors exterior shell, just in time for its historical commissioning.

The Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life is a beautiful community complex of 12 buildings in the heart of Palo Alto, CA. It includes a world-class community center, residential living, condominiums, senior care living, classrooms, learning center, performing arts center, theater, athletic facilities, gymnasium, pool and aquatics center. Turman Commercial Painters was brought on to handle all interior and exterior coatings for this highly anticipated new construction primarily using zero VOC coating making this center a premier LEED project.

The new Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center’s 500 seat Bankhead Theater serves as the focus for arts, entertainment and cultural events in the Livermore Valley. Turman Commercial Painters was responsible for all interior work including the seating area, exposed structure ceiling, stage, back stage and public areas. TCP also provided special Tnemic industrial coatings for all exterior metals.

This new Juvenile Justice Center is a state of the art facility that includes a 360 bed Juvenile Hall in San Leandro, CA. Turman Commercial Painters was responsible for all interior and exterior wall coatings using standard interior paint, acrylic epoxies, D.T.M. coatings and exterior elastomeric coatings. Furthermore, our use of zero VOC coatings make this project LEED green building compliant.

Located in the heart of San Jose’s downtown redevelopment, the new Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library has the distinction of being the largest new construction library built west of the Mississippi.

The Clark Kerr Campus is a Spanish mission style complex consisting of both residence hall and suite accommodations. Turman Commercial Painters was responsible for all interior coatings for buildings 2,3 and 4 in this renovation effort using zero VOC coatings by Kelly Moore.

This new FAA Air Traffic Control Tower which complies with stringent seismic structural standards was built to replace an older 70 foot tower that was built in 1954. The new center includes an 11,000 square foot base building and a 200-ft. control tower. Turman Commercial Painters was responsible for applying fireproof coatings, new concrete stain technologies, high solids polyurethane coatings and standard architectural products.

60,000 square foot addition to an existing church. Facilities included new auditorium, theatre, classrooms and an assembly area.

Washington Commercial Painters was responsible for repairing and restoring the upper deck of the Bellevue Children's Acadamy Parking Lot. The previous coating was carefully removed and the surface was repaired before the new protective coating was applied. The project consisted of 11,000 square feet and a 60' ramp covered with a specialized vehicle traffic coating from Gaco Western.

The project was an interior tenent improvement and exterior restoration. Turman Commercial Painters was involved here to complete the exterior waterproofing.

Opened in 2009, the Burien Public Library is the newest addition to the King County Library System. It consists of underground parking, a meeting room, a conference room, a lobby and 2 floors of wall to wall books. Washington Commercial Painters was responsible for all interior and exterior painting of this new public facility, as well as the coatings for the architectural steel.

This project was one of the first to have used Kelly Moore E-Coat paint systems. E-coat is a recycled paint product using a minimum of 50% post-consumer waste paints and is also low-VOC compliant. Turman Commercial Painters was responsible for painting 3 occupied floors, stairwells, and the permit center itself. This project highlights our own Green movement, benefiting the environment and the occupants of the space.

Turman Commercial Painters painted the exterior surfaces, working around students and faculty during a portion of the 90-day schedule.

The UC Hastings College of the Law was in need of a new parking structure for their staff and students. Turman Commercial Painters painted the interior and exterior of this new 7 floor parking garage in downtown San Francisco. A two-point adjustable suspension scaffold was used to get to the hard to reach exterior.

This elementary and middle school is a great addition to the Sherwood School District. Oregon Commercial Painters was able to provide this new construction project, which had a large amount of architectural steel and wallcovering, with comprehensive interior and exterior surface coatings.

This project involved many bright colors and multiple accent locations. WCP handled both the interior and exterior finishes on this project.

This project involved brand new construction of a beautiful church campus on the outskirsts of West Linn, OR. Oregon Commercial Painters worked with BN Builders to provide interior and exterior finishes for the entire campus and an epoxy floor for their new gymnasium.

As part of an extensive tenant improvement to the lab facility, WCP painted the interior of the laboratory, as well as applied high performance epoxy coatings to lab testing rooms. The Department of Global Health was founded in 2006 as a joint venture between the University of Washington School of Medicine and the School of Public Health and Community Medicine made possible by a $20 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

This project involved the rebranding of PFF Bank & Trust and Downey Savings to the new US Bank. Turman Commercial Painters was responsible for all interior and exterior coatings in this 85 location rebranding effort.

Washington Commercial Painters repainted the exterior of 15 existing concrete tilt-up buildings as part of a remodeling project on the Westpark Industrial Buildings site. Crews maximized the efficiency of hours worked in order to meet the tight eight-week schedule, while maintaining strict safety standards throughout the project.
